Apparently Gmail's filters only looks at the extension when it comes to screening out executable files. If you change the file extension to something else like .safe, it could pass through unhindered. I tried it on my personal Gmail address and the trick worked perfectly.
Just remember to ask the recipient to change the file extension back to .exe upon arrival.

Between server-side mail filtering, client-side mail filtering and anti-virus programs it's just a bad idea to send raw executables as an attachment.
ZIP the file. Most computer users are well aware of ZIP compression and are capable of unzipping.

Gmail actually checks the contents of ZIP files, so even if you ZIP the exe it wont let you send it.ZIP the file. Most computer users are well aware of ZIP compression and are capable of unzipping.
