Hi, I was wondering if GM Studio would give us the option to install large game assets (like music and animations) on the SD card instead of system memory. I am bringing this up since i recall Mike saying that there will be a limit to how many 2048x2048 sprite sheets our games can use (I think 5 I believe). If we are given the option to install to the SD, how much control would we the users have over this process (so that core resources like the player are saved in memory)?
Also, would we have any control over the sprite packer?
Installing to the SD

Up, there are a lot of applications that don't have the SD support and people qualifie with low grades, so this gonna be a GREAT implementation.

Indeed. I was reading Building iPhone Applications with Titanium and learned that you could do this with some applications (making this a feature of the OS). The reason most apps don't do this is either because they are too small to need it or that they are ports of iOS games (where system Memory and External memory are one and the same).Up, there are a lot of applications that don't have the SD support and people qualifie with low grades, so this gonna be a GREAT implementation.
If yoyo isn't going to add this, then we would have to use external libraries to do this.

Just so people know, it's not 2048x2048. It's 1024x1024. That's what I was told.
