Eh...You might want to add a little more to the game before you put it here. :D I fell off the screen as soon as I went left, and of course you need to add instructions a menu and better graphics and the ability to collect blocks.

I ment that when I clicked the mouse button, and was near a block ( im basing this off my minecraft experience) I wouldn't get a block but went through the animation.

This is a nice start, but obviously has a long way to go. My suggestions:

Even at this early stage, have a restart button or key. Having to escape the game and restart it to go again when you are stuck or have fallen is annoying
I can dig any block I can hover my mouse over - I assume you'll want to limit this to blocks within range at some stage.
The animated lava looking blocks don't seem to do anything - should they?

2d Minecraft is a vein of gameplay that has been very deeply mined already - make sure you have a unique twist before you commit too much time to this. Otherwise your potential audience will just be off playing Terraria, or Minecraft itself.

Good luck Theepicgeno,

Bjorn

Thanks for the comment! I'll put a restart button, and ill fix it so you don't fall out of the game. I'll also have it so you can only mine blocks that are close to you. Expect that update today :)

First: sweet. I love it so far! :) God programming, and it seems like it has a solid engine thus far!

Second: I'm not sure if it's a bug, but you can "mine" block all over the screen, even one's you're no where near.

A good start, however i have a few, (helpful hopefully  ) bits of feedback.

I noticed how the Craft/Respawn menu was not keeping up with the view, you most likely need to put the code for where the menu is placed in the "End Step" event.

Also i was alittle confused that space wasnt jump (probably just my minecraft brain  ) and also at the fact i could not continuosly dig by holding down the left click.

Needs much improvement but has equal amount of potential!

Good job

Myhi

Thank you very much! And I have that specific code to keep it in view, I just forgot where to place it! Thanks for reminding me! I'll fix that. And I'll make space bar jump to. :)

These updates will be released tomorrow! :)

But the continuously digging thing... I tried that once, and it was really buggy! So that may not be in the next update. But... I'll try to fix it tomorrow! :D
