What we ended up with here is this game:

Really there is no relevant explanation for it. Play as a young boy with a great burden thrust upon his shoulders as he must complete tasks to stop a meteor from destroying the planet.

I learnt a bit while making this game. It ended up becoming a challenge to my skills and logic. Because it began as a quick 'made in 2 hours' game, I didn't bother to properly name my sprites/objects etc. As the game grew more complex, this became a huge issue. Normally I am pretty organised with naming everything... and I realised not to take organisation for granted. Obvious... but it reinforced it for me.
Also, I think if I left it as a super simple 'made in 2 hour' game, it would not have been of as much value as having added in all the extra half-asleep-derived ideas. Developing ideas whilst on the verge of sleep is a great way to come up with some really strange yet awesome stuff. Just make sure to remember it !
(Try to) enjoy!
