Well... what started as a quick 2 hour project blew slightly out of proportion as I kept thinking up more and more ideas.

What we ended up with here is this game:

Really there is no relevant explanation for it. Play as a young boy with a great burden thrust upon his shoulders as he must complete tasks to stop a meteor from destroying the planet.

I learnt a bit while making this game. It ended up becoming a challenge to my skills and logic. Because it began as a quick 'made in 2 hours' game, I didn't bother to properly name my sprites/objects etc. As the game grew more complex, this became a huge issue. Normally I am pretty organised with naming everything... and I realised not to take organisation for granted. Obvious... but it reinforced it for me.

Also, I think if I left it as a super simple 'made in 2 hour' game, it would not have been of as much value as having added in all the extra half-asleep-derived ideas. Developing ideas whilst on the verge of sleep is a great way to come up with some really strange yet awesome stuff. Just make sure to remember it !

(Try to) enjoy!

Hahah, wow, that was something else. It's clear that it was rushed in terms of graphics and things, but they were still very amusing. My favorite was probably the muscle cat. It's also nice how there was a lot of different types of gameplay here. But really, I loved the way the story was presented by...not really trying to make sense. It has a charm to it. I also loved the little intermission games, especially the "love tester" that didn't seem to make any sense. Then the game suddenly gets "deep and pretentious" in a funny tongue-in-cheek way near the end. It almost became like some kind of parody of instrumentality or something with all of the NPCs talking to you in a white background. Even muscle cat was there! Thank you sir, for the amusing game.

This is pretty enjoyable, and the music had my brother creaking the door open and peeking in to see what weirdness was going on. I would've immediately started over to try the other ending if the player had moved a little faster. Running while holding action/space or having acceleration would work. Nice job though, especially in only 2 hours. I liked it enough to try the game in your signature as well.

Thanks guy!
There's only 1 ending really, either decision you make leads to the same thing, just with the most slight difference.
I actually finished it in around 5 days, it was originally planned to be a quick game but it sort of snowballed..
Cheers !
