Hi there! I am just about to start my Major assessment for my Higher School Certificate, which will be a Top down RPG game, but there is one problem; I am no good at sprite making.

So here's the thing, is anyone able to make me some sprites? I want them to be like the Diablo 2 sprites, so pretty much just top down RPG sprites. Here is a list of what I need:

Characters:
- At least 3 different characters that have 8 way movement
- Armour and weapons

Terrain:
- Medieval building tile sets
- Trees
- Caves
- Grass, etc.

Enemies:
- Monsters
- Humans
- Whatever

This would be a huge, huge help to me and i would appreciate it very much. FULL credit will be given and i will give recommendations to whom ever creates these for me.

CHEERS

Here you go: http://www.spriters-resource.com/
Great sprite site... I found a lot of good character ones there along with backgrounds... just remember that these are commercial RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy, so you will eventually have to make your own (or have them made for you). But using the old favs is great for the practice.
Also, in backgrounds, the one thing i have noticed is that levels are composed of tiles, some have a higher depth to give the illusion of space... just putting the sprites on pictures of backgrounds wont always due (set a shrub to be in front of your character to show he is "behind it").
Enjoy

Are you coding in Game Maker? And just letting you know, that if we can't help you I suggest hitting the forums at Pixelation or Pixel-Joint.

Huh, your teacher won't let you use ripped sprites but is okay with you outsourcing the work on a forum? What kind of course are you on?

Well I can't use ripped sprites because of copyright from games, but if someone makes me sprites that are original then it's fine.

It's what I've been told, so I'm sticking to it.

Umm, you not supposed to have the / in the /quote at the start. Put it on the end so it's

like this

And I'm curious, what's the course you are talking? Like the name?

Technically anything you get here is going to be just as copyrighted, (unless you agree otherwise with the artist,) we're just a lot less likely to sue you.

I guess I'm just curious from an assessment standpoint. What is it you're being marked on? Programming ability? Level design? Project management as a whole?
