Before I buy it, I had two questions
1. If I buy GM:HTML5 now, with I get studio for free?
and
2. If I buy one copy, can I install it on my computer and my friends computer so we can collaborate? Or will he need his own copy?

1. Yes you will get an upgrade to Studio. You will only need to purchase separate modules if you wish to export to iOS, Android, etc.
2. He needs his own copy.

No. (And don´t pay attention to any of the guff around here as no-one has any idea!)

Those details will be announced nearer the actual final release date (which is still to be decided so don´t ask !!!).

No idea. I hate to even estimate. However, Here is one of the latest quotes from Yoyo in response to people asking the same question you asked originally ...

This has all been made public already.....

GameMaker:HTML5 users will get a free upgrade to GameMaker:Studio base + the HTML5 module. If they don't WANT to upgrade and keep GameMaker:HTML5 only, then the 2 programs CAN co-exist quite happily, however GameMaker:HTML5 will not be supported once studio is launched, and will receive no more fixes or updates.

So if your happy enough with it, keep it. if you want Studio+HTML5, then swap over to it. If you want both, then that's fine too.

GameMaker:Studio includes the HTML5 module that current GameMaker:HTML5 users are using anyway, and under the Studio banner it will receive updates and bug fixes.

Sure why not, you just go ahead and do that. Yoyo is spending all their resources on GM:Studio which is dumb since GM:HTML5 already does everything right? lol.
