Hey Game Maker Community,

I need some menu designs for my game, what I'm looking for here is basically a piece of concept art, although in a 600x400 size frame.

Here is a basic outline of what I want the menu to look like. Those blue highlighted lines are plasma torpedoes/bullets of sorts. I simply highlighted them so you know what they where. Now adding those are completly optional, sense I dont know how this is going to turn out.

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

What I am looking for is the spacecraft to appear to be zooming up and into the window chasing after a object(enemy spacecraft) that can either appear on or off screen. (The enemy craft) The main spacecraft can be firing upon the enemy spacecraft, NOTE: if the ship is firing then the enemy spacecraft needs to be in the act of exploding. (Thus the scribbles at the top of the page). You can make two versions, one with just to spacecraft zooming up onto the page, the other with the spacecraft in the act of firing and the enemy ship exploding.

Spoiler

You will of course be included in the credits of the game if you so chose to accept my offer.
A link to my game can be found here.

Yours sincerely,

Bjorn Mathisen

Please resize your images in future, having to pan just to figure out what the picture is is a pain.

Anyway space stuff is pretty easy, lasers and explosions are always fun, and it's been too long since I sat down and painted anything properly.

Here you go:

Yeah he did, and pretty nice piece jake. Is it either me or does the flame of fire coming from the jet look a little weird and 2d though?

Yes, I did say 600x400 size, the one you gave me was 400x600 a simple mistake to make. And Marsiic, see any of your work in Space Fighter? :D You think you would like to do some more work for me? I have a few things if your open.

Umm you're supposed to list the horizontal value first aren't you? Or have I been doing it wrong all these years?

In any case I'd have assumed landscape whichever way round you wrote it simply because that's the standard for pretty much all media. If you want to break away from such a well established trend you really need to be clearer about it.

Here's an edited version. It would have fit a lot better if I'd known that was what you wanted from the beginning:

It's in the alphabetical order of the letters for the axis.
x-axis, y-axis, z-axis
or
width, height, depth

Woah, woah, woah - it's not about the font - it's about execution. I can make papyrus look good with the appropriate application. How are you drawing the menu?

Ha, Normally you create a good menu and then find a matching font, not the other way around. Can you upload what your menu looks like, please?
