Hello GMC! I've been a musician for a long time, playing drums(about 6 years), guitar, piano, and a little trombone. I am willing to work for free to make video game music.

I've been playing video games for years, and have been on GMC for a while.

Most of those were for an old RPG i started but never finished. Use 'em if you want.

Wanna make a request? Copy and paste the following:

Mp3 or midi?(midi is much more 'generic and retro', mp3 sounds better but also has a larger file size):
Looping?:
General mood of song?(happy? sad?):
Any specific instruments or effect?:
Fast paced? Slow?:
Where/when in the game the song will be played:
Any additional info?:

Remember, more info = better chance you'll like the song I make for you.

I don't make sound effects. Look up "sfxr", a program that can make simple sounds effects very easily if you need any.
I'm trying to learn about new softwares/ways to make music, I'll update this accordingly.

Star kinda slow, fade in a little faster and fade out
Where/when in the game the song will be played: Middle of game.
Any additional info?: this will be played on a mission where you unable to stop the death of one of your friends since grade school.

General mood of song?: happy (the happiness and lightness should come from the melody's tune creating the atmosphere, not in its tempo aor choice of instruments)
Any specific instruments or effect?: tides (like by a beach)
Fast paced? Slow?: Medium. rather prefer it to be slow than fast (as mentioned before, till have to be lighthearted)
Where/when in the game the song will be played: a friendly cozy island where one's adventures begin :D
Any additional info?: A slight oriental-feel maybe? this probably goes under choice of instruments...

I wasn't able to get the tide sounds, that sounds more like a sound-effect though. Just play some tides in the background and you'll be fine. Hope I got it like you wanted:
