Hello chaps, just trying to reinstall gm8.1.

faq and wiki says its in the help menue, but all stid here can find is a way to purchase a new version??

If you have a legal version of GM LITE, then there should be a popup menu that will open when you open GM 8.1 Lite. And there is a box where you input the license key.

There may be an option in the 'purchase' box to enter the license key you already have.
I'm not sure, can't really remember.

Hi...
The download was from the officail webiste...
and all I get is an option to purchase the upgrade from gm lite to standard.
I have scanned the pop up and all that is apparent is the purchase boxes.

But it is a white box on a white background.

The way I figured out was:
1) Get my purchase reference for my GM 8.0, since that's what the softwrap page says.
1b) GM won't let me put in my purchase reference, says it wants a license key. :/ Okay.
2) Go to the online store. Go through all the steps to purchase the game until I get a chance to put in a coupon code.
3) My purchase reference works as a free coupon! :D Once "purchased" it gives me the license key.
4) Now I have full version of 8.1!
