every since i downloaded GM 8.1 i have been having problems with my firefox (ver9) and IE (8). i did the download because the class that i am taking deals with GM8.1 i know that i am not the only one that is having this problem. the instructors pc had the problem in the last class also.
the scripts so far that are coming up is

Script: chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.js:286
and i do not have chrome installed, nor will i install it on my pc.
do i need to go to a different engine and spend my money there and not here?
