Jumping straight into things...

I have been coding in multiple languages from GML to C# to Java for about 8 years now but have never completed a game. I have worked quite hard building some games like Wartorn Online (built in GM for the client and Java for a server) and finished some much smaller projects like simple messengers built in Java and other small dos based applications. As most people know building a game is very difficult especially when you move outside the realm of an arcade game. Just building a simple 2D engine in C++ for example can be nearly overwhelming for a single programmer.

So basically what I am getting at is I am searching for another experienced programmer around my skill level that would like to work on projects as a team. I do work with a couple other artists and 3D modelers as well. If you have only used GM that is fine, we will most likely work in GM and cross into other languages like building .dlls or servers. My main goal here is not to try and create the next best video game but to find someone else or others that enjoy programming and would like to progress to that next step. I feel like it would be very beneficial to work with someone else who will have different programming experience and having that ability to bounce problems off of each other and accomplish much more than a single programmer could.
