Generally it's easy to come up with basic stories for a game, especially if the focus of the game is to have fun, and not to explore the "story". I'm really not looking for a "save the princess" game to write for, I would like to write for a game that requires emotion, and emergence into the game world.
I am pretty good at world building, and really enjoy the collaborative process of weaving what the coders can do with telling a compelling story.
I've never finished a project before, because the coder I had worked with flaked out on me, leaving the project about 1/4th of the way done, which was annoying because I had the story and music completely done, and I had made a lot of sprites for it... but I digress.
an RPG would be fun, but really anything that leans heavily on a compelling universe/world with interesting characters with unique conflicts would really rock my fancy.
A little coveat before contacting me, I don't want to join a 1 man team, i'd like to be a part of a project with multiple people that takes the development process seriously. I would prefer to be able to see what kind of direction the project has taken, so I can see that it is actually in development, versus the game being a pipe dream.
Payment? Only if the project makes money, and even then I wouldn't expect a whole lot if any. I have no grandiose dreams of wealth and women. However if the project became the next Minecraft... well then, shoot I want my cut :D hahah.
