It's really strange, when I start a new game, every time I run it or save the exe it automatically initialized d3d_start() on my windows7 computer it does this, so as long as I don't want to make a 3d game I always have to use d3d_end() in the room creation code so it will be 2d, which can get annoying. I've tried reinstalling it but even that won't do it. Though if I install gm on my vista laptop, it works just fine. Not to mention when I use gm:html5 I never have this problem.

Anyone else ever encounter this?
Thanks.

I haven't encountered this, but GM:HTML5 does not support 3D yet anyway, so that will be why it isn't happening there.

Sounds to me like you have an extension or library that is automatically performing the d3d initialization.

I think your right, I recently created an action lib that did that, ever since I've had the problem, even when I remove/ uninstall that lib. Is this somehow fixable?
