Hello all!

I have been working on a small 2D platform game while I work on other projects.

Its a great little game with some nice features, and smooth, addictive gameplay.
Run, jump and dodge over spikes, lava, homing missiles, pitfalls and moving spikes!

What is wrong with the download? It works fine for me... I am trying to fix the screenshot now - stupid mediafire.

Thanks! Obviously it is still a WIP, and so is not finished, but I worked quite hard on the planetry and multi-directional gravity (without using any examples or engine, I hasten to add) so I am glad if people like it!

Nah, the difficulty is fine. Actually, it's kind of easy for me. I don't like the blind jumps in the early levels, though. Other than that, I didn't die very much.

Fun game, can't wait to see it finished. :)

Thanks! I enjoyed making it, and I will also be able to add proper planetry gravity soon, meaning gameplay can become ALOT more interesting. I'm thinking of adding even more gameplay objects...

Has anyone got any other ideas for levels/items/gameplay? I am fully open to any comments from anybody. Just cause you're new doesnt mean you can't comment here remember! I want input from all kinds of people so that I can perfect this!

It seems fun i got to the second level then the charecter got stuck in a wall when the screen rotated

Also I think the others already mentioned you about the getting stuck on walls glitch? IN level 2 before getting the to the flag, gravity rotates and you get stuck to the wall in the right and can't get out unless you jump to the top or suicide.

Also, make the screen bigger. Doesn't matter if it makes the pixels more noticeable.

Ok, I am soon going to be updating this game - I am aiming for a massive graphical overhaul, with increased screen size, many more levels, and a proper menu, as well as highscores and loads more.

Reminds me a lot of the legendary game "Beat It!" by Overman - which I can no longer find a download of. I didn't play for very long so this won't be a detailed review, but I think you should add a healthbar so that the player doesn't immediately die when touching spikes. I would like it if something other than [UP] was jump, since I'm more used to pressing Z. Also, the player sometimes seems to get stuck in the wall for a split second.

Yeah, I was thinking of a healthbar - I have very big plans for this game, including making it an 'adpated' MMO (more details later - you might be surprised!), and allowing players to build their own levels. More powerups are definitly needed.

I am currently working on a healthbar and checkpoints, as well as attempting to fix a few glitches and perfect the planetary gravity script...
