Use Dropbox. :) Simple, easy and effective.

What? Are you living in the stone-age? Use a flash-drive/USB-drive, Dropbox as BCM27 suggested, or find a file hosting site such as upurload.com and upload your files, then download the finished versions to the other two computers...

Think harder

Well, he means editing the game at the same time, so your suggestions are no more than useless for this scenario. GM is not team friendly, unless the team takes turns.

Read harder, eh?

I did notice that, its just that I thought that he would know that what he was talking about is impossible for GM at the moment. I was simply giving him the nearest and best alternative option.

GameMaker:HTML5 adds team support, and Studio goes a step further and integrates SVN (source control). It now works great with teams!

Check out the export/import resources feature (available in GM8.1 Standard and GM:HTML5). I've had good success using this for team efforts. The only surprise we had was changes in the instance ordering (our fault). But if you're aware of this, and use discipline when relying on creation order, you'll be OK.

Besides import/export resource, what GM:HTML5 features are you talking about?

With any luck it will be similar to Microsoft's ALM way of doing things.

The import/export is good, but not ideal for working with big teams at the end of the day.
