I'm thinking of buying GM HTML5,so I want some opinion from the ppl that have bought it.
Are there lots of bugs in it?
Are there any coding difference in HTML5?
What kind of function that HTML5 cant support that windows can?(such as cant use Midi etc)
Last question if I didnt want to post my game on a website would GM 8.1 pro be a better choice to buy.
I kinda got comfartable with how GM windows work so I just hope there's not much of a difference in function and coding so when I have buy it
I can use it straight away.
Is HTML5 worth the extra bucks

If you don't care about web sites, HTML5 isn't much use... UNLESS of course, you want the team features it provides. Better file format and source control allow multiple people to work on it at the same time. If you buy GM:HTML5 now, then you get a free upgrade to GM:Studio + HTML5 in the near future, and THAT gives you access to some VERY cool new toys. Box2D Physics is ONLY going into GameMaker:Studio, so if your interested in that, even just for a windows.exe, then I'd buy GM:HTML5 now to get cheap access to it.
All that said... if you ever want to share your game, I've found a web page is by far the best way. I've looked at FAR more games since folk started writing for it, as I don't have to download, unpack, run it... not to mention worry someone has added a virus or something to it. With an HTML5 game, your as safe as you can be running games.
And although I WOULD say all ths, it just my $0.02

I have to say Mike is pretty honest though.
I made a few HTML5 games with GMHTML5, kind of to see how it feels and works, but I'm more interested in windows games myself, and I knew that from the start. At that time, what was promised was a minimum $99 discount on GMStudio, which does interest me. And this was before they even mentioned the Box2D physics, which of course I expect to be great.
Now, the incentive is even better, in that you actually get the "base" version of Studio + HTML5 export for free, so it's even better than it was. I'd take advantage of it, even if HTML5 doesn't interest you because I'm willing to bet that GM Studio's base version will be more expensive than the $99 for HTML5 at this time, plus you'd get the HTML5 export on top of it(which I'm understanding each export beyond windows/mac costs extra) so if you ever do get interested in online games, you already have what you need.
