i Have a question, i want buy GMK for mac/pc,

i have a iMac 27 and when my friend send me the .GMK project i can't open.... I'm in the lite version, i don't know ... i can make a boot camp and buy game maker for windows but the question is:

- my friend can send me the .GMK projects and i can open in a mac?

- can i send my games to app store (MAC not iOS ) with a windows?



and when i buy game maker 8.1 for mac, when yoyo realize the game maker:Studio i must only make a update or i must buy a new version? ... :S

GM4Mac is based on GM 7, GM:Windows is based on GM8. GM4Mac will not open GMKs created in GM:Windows 8.x.

Yes, assuming you install GM:Windows (8.1) and are running it under Windows via Bootcamp.

No.

The only GM games that can be submitted for Mac to the App store must be created by GM4Mac. The then must be signed on a Mac.

There is NO GM8.1 for Mac and no announcements.

GM:Studio, has a Mac exporter, however it will only run on Windows. There is no announced upgrade discounts for GM8.1 to GM:Studio.
