Are 15 Enemies enough?

If you are doing a "hack and slash" then the game is more focused on enemies that on platforming, and so you probably need a bigger variety of enemies. One way to help with variety is to increase "situational" variance, for example in mario games, where you run into 3 goombas together, then run into a set of enemies mixed up, then another of the same enemy group, but in a different order, then maybe something similar, but stuck in a smaller area, well...you get the idea. That's how you can make a smaller enemy variety, but though it could increase variety in the game, some players will still notice the lack of actual different enemies.
My KBInput system is now on the marketplace here. It wraps up nice and tight GMStudio's input system into a few function calls making a user configurable input system that works the same regardless of what inputs the player has chosen including keyboard, mouse buttons, and gamepad/joysticks using DInput/XInput. If it's just the same attack patterns just with more damage and health, that is inherently boring no matter how many enemies you keep throwing in.

You haven't told us anything about the enemies, how they attack, when they attack, what weapons they have, and how you defeat them. So... what answer do you expect to such a vague question?
Are 15 enemies enough for a platformer hack n slash game? - not including the traps and the boss battles
Why not describe the enemies and tell us something about the game? Then you'll get some specific opinions you can use.

2) A little goes a long way.
Sounds like you have the perfect amount for your game.
On a serious note, I suck at action games. As long as each enemy has a unique attack sequence and can each give me a cool death animation, I'll be ok with it.
