I have scoured the forums for the solution to my problem and I can't seem to find it. Maybe I'm blind, but I cannot for the life of me find where GM HTML5 is placing the converted audio files of my 4 .midi files. They aren't in the html5 folder where the rest of the game is built. I run the game in Windows mode and the audio works fine. I run the game in HTML5 debug mode and it says

Loading: html5game/snd_bgm_r1
Loading: html5game/snd_bgm_boss
Loading: html5game/snd_bgm_lose
Loading: html5game/snd_bgm_win

but no SoundLoaded below like it says ImageLoaded for all of the generated images. I go to the html5game folder and there are no audio files in there converted or otherwise. Halp?

midi is not a supported format for HTML5, and we don't try to convert it either. You'll need to find a program to convert them to WAV, OGG or MP3 in order for GameMaker:HTML5 to use them.

Ok, that's fair. Thank you!
I suggest that someone changes this compiler output then:
Converting C:\Users\Jeremy\Dropbox\conaexus\VG_Fly_Swat.gmx\sound\audio\snd_bgm_r1.mid to mp3 with bitrate 8kbps ...done
Converting C:\Users\Jeremy\Dropbox\conaexus\VG_Fly_Swat.gmx\sound\audio\snd_bgm_r1.mid to ogg with quality 6 ...done
Converting snd_bgm_r1.mid to MP3...OGG...Finished!
There is no indication that the conversion didn't work. It certainly makes it sound like it successfully converted them... only to have me struggling to find these non-existent files.

Also, I heard that .wav's do not work in HTML5, is that true?

Thanks again!

Feel free to file a bug and we'll look at it. If you don't.... it'll get forgotten and never get done

WAV files don't, but we convert them into OGG+MP3 for you.

The conversion is great!

How do I file a bug for Game Maker?

Thanks again.
