This is not a tower defense example....this is an example of an object shooting at another object
The use of timelines seems neat though

where's the path(s)? where's the HUD? How do you create towers? How do you upgrade towers? There's nothing here but an object shooting at the closest object in it's range and the spawner just spawns one after another

You can change the variables such as the damage the bullet does to an object. It wouldn't be to difficult to create a button that for example adds +10 damage to the tower. (If you have trouble with that then its a bit early to jump into a full game)

This example show you one of the ways to do it and the basic parts and code needed for the engine.I chose this way because it is simple and it would be easy for a beginner to learn from.

Thanks for the feedback

Thank you. Its a good starting place for anyone who wants to make a game like that. I searched and found a website dedicated to tower defense games, there quite a lot of them out there. Just the same thing with different artwork it seems.
