Hmm, the electricity edits are pretty sick. But at some points you went a little overkill with the red, lol.

With your edit couldnt you have just used the built in GM sprite editor to do a recolour and glow...is that what you did?

for rage sonic most of it was with the built in sprite editor, the finishing touches were done in GIMP. all of the sonic generations sprites were edited in GIMP

Where can I get those?

just click and drag them on to your desktop to save them

Fuzzy select background and delete it. You could fuzzy select and then move the background out of the canvas area too.
Actually, the first image has a transparent background soo...

why?

You're butchering sprites without any appreciation or understanding of the medium, adding nothing of value to them.
This deserves a lot less respect than someone doing their own thing and it looking bad since they are not leeching off of other peoples work for attention.

That's what you're doing.

It may be sprites from a big corporation but that doesn't make it any less art theft-ish.
If you posted blatant sprite edits with photoshop filters on them of, say, Iji without permission of the author, people would be up in arms about such shenanigans.
But if it's sonic sprites, that is apparently suddenly acceptable around here.

That is sad.
