So I was working on this game last night, everything was fine, I finally got most of the bugs ironed out. Then this morning I start it up from the .gm81 file and it gives me this.

(With the game in the background)
That pops up as soon as the game starts, every time. I did a bit of googling and found out that it's usually a certain resource that does it. So I went through deleting big stuff one by one with no luck. I ended up deleting every resource in the game, with just an empty room, and it still gives that error! This is really frustrating, and it's happened to me once before. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be?

No idea. Did you try opening the backup files? (They're automatically saved along with your main .gm81)

I don't have access to any other computer really. Though I don't know what would be wrong with this one, it ran fine last night and I didn't change anything.
All of my graphics drivers etc. are up to date. I can post specs if need be.

Specs wouldn't have anything to do with it. When exactly does the error occur? Right after loading or during?

Right after loading, the game window actually shows up for a step or two, then freezes and the error window appears. When I press "OK" it closes the game. I just actually realized it's doing this with ALL of my Game Maker games, so it must be something on my end.

Something's wrong with your program, try re-installing it.

It was fixed with a simple restart of my computer. Sorry about the waste of time.

It's just a bad problem of backgrounds... backgrounds size I think
just don't use to larges backgrounds.
