I was wanting to make a series of game spaces that are unusually linked with an array. The number of spaces in total would not be very large so having a global array would not be a significant drain on memory. Is there a trick to getting a global array by defining one in a script that is executed when I need it, or maybe there is another solution to my problem?
I have thought of using an array inside a controller object for all of my game space objects but again I have issues with implementation. (Mainly, I don't know what I'm doing.)
I am almost ready to just declare a whole bunch of variables and run through them each time I need to check for a game space link, but that would be stupid.
Help me, please.
OK. That was easy enough. Thanks for the help. I guess you can have global arrays. Just what I needed.
Now I just need to show that this was solved. Thanks everyone for quick responses and different perspectives.
