So, would that be Microsoft since I have Windows 7? Also, which drivers do i need to update?

Ok, I found the page where I can download the drivers, but it says that the only drivers they have are drivers that didn't come with the computer. Do I download these or update my existing drivers ? Also ,how do I update my existing drivers (if I need to)?

I downloaded all of the drivers they had in the "latest category", but I still get the error, so this clearly did not work. Do I need to do something to the files once they're downloaded? If not, can I delete these files because they take up a lot of memory?

the error has nothing to do with memory if that is what you are thinking. it has something to do with direct X, drivers and possibly a rootkit

Sorry for taking SO long to reply. On one of the files I extracted, there is a folder with Setup.exe (which is the same as Install.exe), but in that folder is a bunch of folders that contain Setup.exe (or something similar). Do I just do the setup for the first folder with Setup.exe?

Do we don't HAVE to assume it must be malware, and you've done nothing but assume it must be malware.

To the OP,
Start / dxdiag / display tab
Print that screen and post it here.

What is important is that DirectDraw and Direct3D acceleration are enabled and the Graphics Adapter is not a generic Windows supplied one.

Upload the screen shot to a site that allows graphics, then link to it.
