First of all, it's not a screensaver.
A screensaver should close when the mouse moved, and yours doesn't.

Also the colour of the wood is red, not brown-ish, maybe add a texture to it?

And it gets very repetive, try adding like random rivers?

Other than that, very well done!

I don't add the mouse move makes it exit because I prefer to actually press a button.

Yeah the colour is a bit off i admidt but i like the lack of texture.

The rivers idea was something i was tinkering with and also deer and other grazing animals, however a project like this doesnt hold my attention for long enough and I havn't really got the time right now. Just sold all of my possesions and joined a travelling gypsy fair so until I have renovated my motorhome and built my stall up I wont have any free time.

Well, it's still blurry. Maybe it's just me. But anyways, like I said, looks good. I like those little critters you have around the place.

It's pretty good, but it can use a lot more work, it's not my favorite, but it's still pretty good.
Touch it up a bit, and it should be better. :D

I really was not aware that screensavers had prerequisites other then changing the file extension...I will add the mouse exit as an option however because I only aim to please.

I think that screen savers is actually energy saving system. This doesn't save energy at all! Still, good!

a screen saver was never meant to save energy, it was to prevent burn in on monitors. burn ins are a non-issue now, so screen savers are now merely for presentation purposes

If it were designed to save power, it would be called a power saver. A screen saver always has been simply a graphical, changeing full screen display. Once upon a time when crt displays were the standard, the phosphorus materials used to colour the pixels would over heat and burn, leaving a remnant of that still image permanently on the display surface. In the more modern plasma screens the same is true and even lcds will accumulate dead pixels from still images. Screen savers are simply an executable file with the extension changed, which parses various arguments for settings and previews, so the operating system can handle them in differant ways.

There are no prerequisites or special uses for screen savers other then to avoid various display damage.
