Hello, I've been working on a platformer game with gameplay similar to the original spyro series where you travel through various worlds, collect items and unlock new homeworlds, along the way you learn new movements such as dashing, double jumping, etc.

The main character "Aaron" has the ability to absorb magic from ancient orbs, these can give you many types of temporary super abilities such as super speed, super jumping, weapon summoning, fire manipulation, and many others.

Here's a screenshot by the way:

As you can see, I am not that great with tilesets, if anybody could help me with this it'd be awesome. (I'll of course give you credit!)

Currently looking for a dirt tileset, and a stone tileset (see image above)
The tileset must be 32x32, here's a little template to help out:

Oh and please remember: There's no need to rush things, spend as much time as you require!

Thanks to TheUltimate for the sandy tileset:

Looks good, the pillars could use much work though.

I also edited the stone a bit to appear more stone-ish.

The pillars looks like they're made of wood :P
I'll use them anyways though.

Thanks.

Too boring and blurry, too many colors.
Here's my version, blocks aren't done yet.

I'm gonna go with a really broken/ancient theme mostly because the pillars didn't look right with just the lines across them.
Any criticism or ideas?

(By the way, this uses only 6 colors)

Pillars are perfect, the stone looks way too smooth imo.

Here's some stone I'm aiming for:

The stone I haven't even worked on, I just have shape at the moment.
I did just finish one brick, I'll post that right now.

This would probably be the most damaged brick, I'm also planning to make them sort of shift out of place, so they won't be as blocky.
I'm also retouching the pillars again, I've added another color you can see it on the damaged brick.

I'm gonna stop working on it, I don't like the direction it went in, it sorta looks like really bright hardened white clay, if there were a material that actually looked like this it would look okay.
I tried to make it darker but that wasn't working out, I could have tried a pattern I suppose but maybe some other time I'll work on it again.
Well, here it is anyways, I didn't finish it.

That's good enough for me, thanks.

That won't be there for long, it's just a placeholder, so ignore it. :P

Anyways, looking for some rocky cave tilesets

Thanks.

That sounds interesting actually, and I do have some pretty good solid ice tileset sprites that would go with it, I'm thinking, close to the yoshi's island cave style, maybe a background and more metallic/shiny floor, and of course the ice.

Here's my ice, it's the top blue colored image, the rest are leaves, the tileset is incomplete, it doesn't have corners.

Well, the thing is the edges of the ice tileset weren't going to be seen much in my original idea for the tileset, without the second darkest color it doesn't look like fire, I kinda just half-assed it with just any boring pattern.
