Hi, I've written a lot of music for my game that I'm about to release, so I hope you don't mind some constructive criticism from a fellow composer

While I really like the background tones for most of these pieces, there's two things that I think could use a lot of work in these songs:
A) As one person here has said, the songs are kinda bland. I think this is mainly because you make your background instruments massively overpower your melody. In some parts it completely drowns it out, in others the background just feels more prominent.

Your melodies are rather haphazard, mostly because they they lack much variation. You'll use nothing but half notes for a few measures, then nothing but quarter notes. You really need to combine different lengths to make a succesful melody, or it just sounds like a kid banging away at a piano or something

And don't be afraid of repitition! One thing I hear a lot in the songs is you keep changing notes in the melody, going up and down and meandering through a lot of odd notes, but noever staying long in.. I dunno what you'd call it, a "note range". This can sound okay for a little bit, but it doesn't sound very good over like 5 or more measures.
Edit: Btw, I didn't mean to make it sound like the music was bad, I did like it
Also, do you write a lot of music for Yal by any chance? I swear I've heard a lot of extremely similar styles in his games.
