I'm probably just being overly cautious, but can anyone verify that GM4Mac works on Lion?

You're being overly cautious. A lot of people have upgraded already. :)

(not me. I hate the lack of Expose)

Works fine here too. You get used to the expose replacement, but I still preferred the SL one :P

Thanks everyone.

Didn't realize they were replacing expose... kinda bummed about that.

There's an expose of sorts, called mission control. It shows spaces, rather than windows, but I generally keep one application to one space.

There's also still the ability to use normal expose, but it's application specific. Invoke it, and it shows you all the windows in the current application, rather than all windows open.

It's crap, tbh. The whole point of Mac OS is that it's more window-centric than Windows, and the whole point of Expose is to switch between different application windows rapidly. So Mission Control is useless as it adds 1 extra swipe in order to get to application windows. :P

I also dislike the lack of the blue scroll bars, but that's just me. Overall, I hate the fact they're replacing all that makes Mac OS good with stuff that makes iOS good, but won't necessarily work on desktops.

One thing I love about the new Mission Controll is the ability to 4 finger swipe between spaces. Going to the actual mission control screen is not something I do often, I have one application open per space (I would do them full screen, but some apps are still getting their head around it), then 4 finger swipe between them.

When Lion first came out, you had the ability to drag a file, then 4 finger swipe to another space (so the touchpad was tracking 5 touches). They removed that with an update, and now I have to drag the file to the edge of the screen and wait :(

I usually just stick a bunch of application windows in the same screen, Exposť between them, and when file dragging is needed, I'd simply just CMD+H or CMD+OPT+H as required.
