My Sonic Fan Game Has been greatly improved and Will be getting new items levels and much more wait and see how how each level is going to be.




Here is a speed run of the current demo, demo 6.

Now Updated With Bug fixes and actual sign post ends Air dash has been added and homing attack fixed and changed frozen green hill zone bmg

Well... it's a really messy edit of the RougeYoshi engine. It has a Shadow recolor with half the needed sprites as the main player (whose hitbox isn't even the right size). The test level is as far as I got. It's really really long. That's... a... plus? Maybe. I dunno. I didn't reach any checkpoints so I died 5 minutes in and wasn't about to play it again. Every time I hit the spinner bad guys the first time in a chain I got hurt, whether I was attacking or not. I think it ran a little laggily for me, too. That may be due to the apparent huge size.

I don't really have a lot to say about it. I guess just keep working at it so you can learn something for your next game. Also, the size is pretty big. How? Do you use full quality mp3s or something?

I don't know about the engine you said i used because it was the SRU beta 4 yes it is buggy and test zone is long and lags. Other rooms do not at least on my computer. The level design has changed and you can skip Test zone by pressing F2. If it doesn't work then it will be in the next test It may be big because of song I uploaded but did not uses. I fixed some of the problems but for some reason you get hurt no matter what with flying enemies. There are checkpoints but when you move on to the next room they start you off from one of the checkpoints in the last room. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS Update with more fixes with come soon.

Also I do use mp3s. Is there a file type that uses less memory

And the recolor of shadow is here because I did not feel like creating and animating everything for this game and sonic will replace him in later versions.

The game uses way too much RAM and hard disk space!!! probably because of the music.

We've seen enough Sonic re-makes/fangames. Try remaking something more obscure, or building something unique, or at least use the sonic resources on a different way.

I am this is just a test game for my next NON SONIC game. I made this so I would already know how to do functions and get my ideas on level design rated. I chose sonic because a lot of platformer game functions are in sonic. This is just my first game that fully worked.

So what do you guys think of the winter green hill zone theme

And what do yall thank about my level design

And what do you guys think about metal sonic in the game so far

Hey guy. I figured out why my game was so big. I can't believe I did not realize this sooner. Each song in my game, the full audio last about 15-30 minutes each. i fixed it now and it is about 35mbs.

V4 is almost here! 2 more players have been added to the game classic sonic, and a special character. The level layout also changes depending on who you get.

V4 is out now with a lot of updates, bug fixes and decreased file size. Not to mention a character selection (press 1 or 2 repeatedly until you enter the level) press 0 to return to the default character. Classic Sonic has entered the game(press 2 repeatedly) as well as a secret special character (press 1 repeatedly).

Frozen Hill Zone speed run competition starting soon. Can you beat my time?

V5 is out and better than ever. Think you can beat metal sonic in a race or better yet beat the 2nd boss in the new overpowered mode (press O on main menu)

V6 is out and has many new features. Check out the Glacier Temple and the Remade Forest Hill and Frozen Hills located in the new Challenge Zone.

Wow. Thanks for all of the support. I'll let you guys in on a. secret. some of the walls in the challenge room are breakable with secret levels hidde behind it. Check them out.

Here is a speed run of a level that will be avalible in version7. The game is now known under Project Sonic Black Ace (Not its real name but something to call it while I think of a name).
