Just like the title says, is there a way to find all of the instances below a certain room height and destroy all of them?

File>>
>Preferences>>
>>Look for something in editor settings or room settings that says something about deleting objects out of view. Check it. Go into the room, exit and see if you get a pop-up message that asks if you want to.

No, thats not it. That will just remove them when you close the room editor.
Do this
with(all){
  if(y > destroyBelowHere)
    instance_destroy();
}
Where destroyBelowHere is the height that you want them destroyed below

Oh ya Flying Penguin's right. I thought you meant for example: if you accidentally placed one outside room.

You can just delete those like an object you accidentally placed in a room too...
