Hi guys.

This topic is now closed. I'm available at PM for those with bigger sprite-jobs, but I've currently stopped taking random requests. I've got to finish some of my own games, and focus on my exams. (Can't believe I wrote that.. Lol.) I'm sure I'll be back at a later point of time with a new topic, 'cause the feedback has been extremely good. It's been a lot of fun taking your requests, and you've helped me improve myself a lot. So thanks a lot to you guys as well. Bye for now. (NOTE: Just leaving the topic, not the community! :P )

I will make sprites and cartoony backgrounds for those who need!
I use a tablet and Adobe Flash - so the style is a little different than the usual retro-sprite-look
that you find in a lot Game Maker games.

Credits:
You have to give some kind of credit (to PWL) when using my sprites. You decide how big, depending on the size of the request.
You may give me a penny over here, if you enjoy my artwork.
You have to PM me about using my artwork for commercial stuff. (If it's a major thing that will be really big, and I make a lot of artwork for it, I want a little bit of the income ;) )

Style:
To point you in the right direction, this is some of what I can make:
- Platform characters/creatures
- Platform stuff/items in general (Boxes, buildings..)
- Backgrounds (Cartoony/handdrawn style.)
Posted ImagePosted Image
(Nevermind the low quality edges. Gif, you know?) Please do not steal these sprites.

RULES:
- Add size!
- Please add a COMPLETE list of what animations you need for your character. I hate when people write 3 animations, and then later on I have to make another 4 animations, 'cause they didn't add them in the first place.
- And be reasonable on the requests, please. I'm just a human.
- If you can add references or screenshots, that's a big plus.
I will give them as png-strips, if you don't wish for something else.

PWL

You're all free to use this random free-to-use-stuff:

Hey there mate,

I would like a silhouette of a cartoon stick man running for a jump and run type game. (A bit like your srickman with a sword but without the white head?)
It needs to be animated to look like its sprinting.
Reference for what a silhouette is: http://www.clker.com...-running-md.png
Size: Round about 64x64 but can be less if needed.

Also i want the silhouette of a bat.
Size: again around 32x32 - 64x64
Reference: http://www.pamsclipa...16-1930_SMU.jpg
If possible can you mak a flapping animation facing left and one facing forward.

Thanks,
Fireball

All of them are 64x64, and looks best at 20 fps. At least that's what I think, and drew them as ;)

EDIT: Aw, man! Silhouette-bat! I'll recolor the gray fields.
EDIT2: There! All black. :D

They are awesome, especially the bat!
There are a few things i want to ask,
can you please edit the man so he is more leaned over like this picture:Posted Image

And can you please make:
  • a normal jump
  • a forward flip
  • a roll
  • a slide
  • a 360-midair spin
For the man?

Once again, The bat is perfect and the man will b perfect once the changes have taken place! Thanks ever so much for your help

Thanks,
Fireball

Ah, that's nice! I'm very glad you like it. Here's the roll, slide, and 360. I think it's the best 360 I can do. I can give it another shot if you're not satisfied, though.

You, my friend, are probably one of the best sprite artists I have ever had the pleasure of requesting work from on the GMC. Those animations look perfect! Even my OCD is satisfied! ;)

Great graphics, amazing response time (wtf? 30 mins? how the hell?), and perfect animation!

Thanks,

Zesterer

I don't know how you managed it, only 30mins and you've managed to create some of th best animations I have seen on the GMC! I'll be sure to come to you if we need and more graphics in the future! :o

On a side note, you might get a pm soon with a special proposal inside

Thanks,

Awww.. *blush* You guys... Haha. Thank you very much. I find 30 minutes pretty long. Maybe not for animations.. I don't know, haha.
(Some of the animations would be best at 15 fps, although my design-speed is 20. You'll figure that out pretty fast. )
Be sure to notice me about any progress of your game! I'm excited to see where this is going :D
