Trial Period?

I remembered that I had the old trial time version loaded on my MacBook Pro, so I ran that up. I was delighted to find that I had 4 hours left on the trial period. It then popped up asking me if I wanted to install an update. Of course, I clicked yes. Once it had updated, I was shocked to find that my 4 precious hours of remaining time had run out and it was asking me to pay for it to continue.
I just want to know what actually happened here, because I can't explain it.
I guess my game won't be coming out on Mac then.

Just buy the Mac version?
It really isn't all that expensive.
I know, I am saving up for it at the moment. The thing is, I am not an adult with a lot of regular, disposable income. That isn't really the point of this anyway, the point is, I had 4 of those hours left to use up. I would have definitely gone and bought the full version when that time was up. However, the time wasn't up, so I still should have been able to use it.

Ah, Ok. I know some programs base their trial periods off of your internal clock...Did you change it? Or something? I personally have never experienced this issue.
Well, the trial thing was weird, it gave you 10 hours of usage, on and off, so when you had run the program for a total of 10 hours, you trial would be up. It offered me an update, so, I took it. What I don't get is why on earth it removed my remaining time.

You could try find a friend with Gm4mac pro to convert it for you.

If you have GM4Mac lite, then you can test the game, right? squash all the bugs, etc?

Yeah, I guess so. But unfortunately, I don't have any friends with Macs, let alone GM4Mac Pro xD. I shall probably try and get some money together to buy the full version (and on PC as well as the full version of Crossover)
