Anyway, I know SOPA is dead but it's alternatives still mean death for online businesses like YoYoGames. With the amount of copyright breaking fangames made with Game Maker, YYG could be in trouble.

and here's the worst part, it was just signed by the EU today http://www.mofa.go.j...y/acta1201.html
Say hello to the new world :C
Edit: a petition has been made against it, if anyone wishes to sign, they should go ahead and do so http://www.avaaz.org...he_internet/?fp (I would also love them forever and ever, if that means anything :3 )

This "legal document" is being signed, thought up and PASSED by democractially UNELECTED Representatives! Our government and over 39 other ones have been working on ACTA for the past 3 years!!
"ACTA is the abbreviation for the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. ACTA is an international agreement to establish new standards on enforcing intellectual property rights. ACTA would create a separate governing body outside of existing international organizations, including WTO (World Trade Organization), WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and the UN (United Nations).
Though the bulk of the negotiations and resulting documents have been kept secret with virtually no transparency, it is clear from both the leaked and released statements and documents that ACTA has the potential to infringe upon privacy, civil liberties, legitimate commerce, innovation and freedom on the internet."
WHAT DO WE DO WHAT DO WE DO!?!!??!?!

Yes, this new law allows parents to request records of their underage children's browsing habits.it does more than that! That. They can litterly see which website you are on.
Your mum is going to be very disappointed, when she finds out where you've been.
