One year and two months after the release of Paradox 3D, Spirox Productions is proud to present Paradox 2!

Bigger, badder, and better in every way shape and form!
3-Dimensional Platform / Puzzle Game!
Guide your ball to the swirling cube to complete each stunning level!

In each new version of Paradox 2, a new map pack featuring 10 maps will be added to the game. The goal behind each map pack is to add at least 2 new tile types to the game. That's where you come in! What kind of tile types do you want to see? Moving tiles? Disappearing tiles? Exploding tiles? You decide! Leave a comment and let me know!

Our goal: 10+ Map Packs with 20+ Tile Types for a unique experience with every update!

Now, there's a level editor that let's you design any level you can imagine, then save the level as a separate file. The game has also been given a Custom Map Player, which means you can load any level you made, I made, your friend made-- whatever! The levels made from the level editor are tiny, and can be transferred easily. Soon, a website will be launched dedicated to the sharing of these levels; one big community of players who upload levels that they've made and download the levels of others.

For the time being, 3 custom levels made by myself have been included with the game, but you can only play user-created levels if you unzip the file of the game (found here).

More updates will be coming soon, including bug fixes, more new tile types, etc. The main game now has 40 levels and the level editor, so the level editor will be the main focus of the coming updates. Hopefully, the levels you make will soon be able to be shared with the whole Paradox community.

In the meantime, if you haven't tried out Paradox 2 yet and you're reading this, please go give it a try and a rating. It's worth it!

Over 15 hours of coding and design were put in to this update for Paradox 2 to ensure that Version 8 is the best one yet!

1. Complete Engine Rebuild
The previous engine behind Paradox 2 was over a year old, left over from previous 3D endeavors. The gameplay was shaky and the collisions were buggy, but that's completely changed!

2. Enhanced 3D Camera
The new engine brings flawless 3D platforming and a new, more advanced camera system- the camera now rotates around the player and can angle up and down! Do you want a head-on view to take in the graphics? Or do you need a top-down view to place your landing just away from a spike?

3. Coins and Game Store
Every level in the four map packs is now stocked with coins for you to collect as you compete for the fastest global completion time! Spend the coins you earn in the Store, where you can buy upgrades, new color schemes, and bonus levels!

4. Menu and Interface Improvements
The menu is now easily navigable and perfectly clear. The title screen has also been updated (finally :P) to match the new graphics.

5. Multiplayer Capabilities
The new engine allows for online head-to-head races to be implemented! This is not included in Version 8-- one of the coming updates will bring this new feature. It's been a while since Paradox 2 was updated, and I was eager to share what had been done :D

Please, whether you've already played Paradox 2 or not, go give it a try and drop some feedback! It's well worth the download!

Awesome, awesome. I played it, and it was quite enjoyable. I liked the music, and competing for a high-score was fun.The graphics, although simple, fit together and look good for the most part. I enjoyed collecting coins to get powerups, though I have not bought a new skin yet.

It seemed perfectly playable until level three, when the controls started locking up and refusing to respond near the end. Quite glitchy. The momentum physics also didn't agree with me, they seemed like they were a little too forced. Just a minor complaint, but There were no sound effects outside of the menus, it could've used some sound effects to breathe more life into the 3D worlds. Nice music, though.
