I'm trying to make a 3D parallax starfield using kinect (IE you move your head and the image on the screen moves, giving an impression of depth.) And my travels through the interweb have led me to "FAAST" a system that basically transmits the coordiantes and angles of various joints from an input of Kinect.

it works really well, but of course it won't output to gamemaker. So reading on, I read that its values can be read with VRPN, which I don't really know much about. Apparently it has a way to read it with C++, but I know nothing about that. Can someone help me?
