This game was a christmas gift to my girlfriend. You run, jump and slash things with your wolverine claws.

YYG Page (4.5MB)

CONTROLS
Move: Arrow Keys / WASD
Jump: Z / I
Attack: X / J

If you get poor performance, you may press F6 to disable vertical synchronization.
If you get graphical issues, you may press F7 to disable surfaces. This will most likely give you other graphical issues.
If you get those other graphical issues, you may press F8 to disable scaling.

There is a hidden playable character. Can you find thon?

Cool game, not really much else to say xD I liked slapping enemies, the boss at the end was sort of odd and unpredictable.

I have to say this game has some pretty good gameplay! Really in the old-school Kirby style, which is great! The graphics were too, awesome. Nea's adventure really has potential to become a longer game, because, just as you said, you take quality over quantity! Also, thanks for including me in the game ^^. Keep up the good work, Zeddy!
Also, it looks like I'll have to include YOU in one of my games. But that doesn't matter, everybody loves hats and beards =D .

This game must have been the best gift she ever received. :D I liked the game. It's short, but short games make great gifts.

Lovely to play; my favorite part was when she turned into Nemo the fishy! :D

The rainbow at the beginning of the game has its colors in the wrong order, hee hee. ROY G. BIV: Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet!

Thank you soso much for including the Allyrolypoly! ;____; <3

Fixed the rainbow. D:

Other changes that felt less important to document:
-Some bugfixes
-Combat made smoother. You can jump-cancel and change direction mid-combo.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. ;_;

What exactly did you change? I now get "Unexpected Error occurred while running the game". But I still have the old version and it works. :)

EDIT: Zeddy deleted some sprites and re-added them and that fixed the error. Game Maker 8.1 is still full of hidden bugs obviously.

Awesome game, smooth platforming, good fighting, all round cool. The Yal cheat was great too, even if she is bad ;) Of course, it will be much better when I'm in it (as more then a name in the credits) :D

Whoaaa, this is awesome! Like seriously, it was awesome. Not much else to say, except that maybe you should make the game about five times longer or something...

Groan. These stupid library computers that has no ability to right-click prevents me from downloading the game.

I'll return with actual feedback as soon as I get back to school.

no ability to right-click

How does that work? D:

Even if the mice only have one button there should be a key on the keyboard that serves the same function. (on windows 'puters it's to the right of the right windows key.)

On my keyboard, this is where the right-click context menu key is:

It's one of those keys I never need. :D

It's possible for the admins to lock some functions for certain users, I bet they don't want people to download "harmful" stuff to their computers. :turned:

How does that work? D:

On my keyboard, this is where the right-click context menu key is:

Basically, the context menu, no matter how you try to summon it, is disabled. The RMB still responds to being pressed, because some pages (like imageshack) has their own context menu popping up and that works.

Anyway, never mind, because I'm finally back in school, which has a much less stupid system in place.

I added some hardware setting stuff. F7 will enable surfaces again.
F6 will toggle Vsync and F8 will toggle scaling regardless of surfaces.

There's also handy console messages that will let you know you did these things.
