This is neat. Nicely designed for mobile compatibility.

The hard difficulty seems far too easy though.

edit: nevermind, just seems like all the difficulties should be harder. Or at least add another 2 or so difficulties.

Thanks! I agree, the difficulties are off at the moment (just placeholders really :)), though easy seems pretty accurate! I'll add at least one more tier when I rebalance it.

I played this on my logitech revue on my tv and it worked well! The difficulties do need a little work but easy does seem pretty accurate especially if someone plays it that hasn't played sudoku before it would be good for them to learn.

So overall everything worked great and I enjoyed it! Nicely done little game.

Wow, I'm sort of surprised that it worked on a TV, especially given the small resolution of the game! Thanks for playing :)

The game has been updated. It's considered finished now, though the mobile version is now being tested. Time to start looking for sponsors!

Would love some more feedback :)

Menu buttons? I can see you want to keep the sudoku look-style, but they still do look out of place. (white box, black outline, arial text. Just look at the room which has the new game page).

I'm not an artist, but maybe give a sliiight gradient on the white of the menu buttons.

Not a sudoko player, so can't really give any other feedback. Good luck with finding sponsors.

I agree, though when I tried changing up the style of the buttons it made it seem even less fitting

Also, turns out the game does not work on hardly any mobiles (and the ones it does work on are glitched). GM HTML5 needs some substantial improvements in that respect. My search for sponsors has been postponed until it will actually works on mobile...

Looking good TV! but GM HTML5 isnt that good to make mobile-compatible games yet, on my android 2.2 phone they doesnt always work, and when they do, the screen doesnt get stretched nor lets me pan the window to see the whole thing (Tried Opera Mobile, Dolphin browser, HTML5 viewer, Default browser, nothin') So if i where you i would try to learn some js for something simple as sudoku ;)
Ohp this one works fine trough, the screen size is just a liiiitle bit bigger on the top because of the browser border.

Ps; This needs a timer to add scores/records hehe

Have you got a tester with an iPhone? I seem to recall the few people that tried WENAH with iPhones complained of lag, but the keys still worked(I assume)

Ended up getting it tested across a range of mobile devices...none worked perfectly, most not at all...GM HTML5 isn't very mobile friendly yet. I'm now working with YellowAfterlife to create it from scratch so I can still apply to sponsors...hopefully that version will be completed in a few days.

The schnitzel? 55 guests viewing topic? :P

Quick question TV, you just using object with click events, or virtual buttons? Really weird that it won't run on any, hmm.

Just objects with click events. Mike said the issues will be fixed when the team return from holiday in January sometime...though we'll see.

Thanks, though their is no keyboard support since we had to remake it from source and the focus is on a mobile audience rather than PC.

We've also finished the mobile version completely now. There shouldn't be any issues at all. You can try it here: http://bit.ly/SudokuJpnM

The game now has 2 sponsors lined up, and is being distributed over several large mobile games portals! :)

Thanks to everyone that helped us test the mobile version, it really helped a lot.
