Player Respawn Problem

I don't know why its gone wrong, how its gone wrong and why its gone wrong, I've been trying to figure this out for a good few hours and i still cant solve it this is what happens when the player dies and respawns. (ive reduced the image size)

Then if i die again, i get another one including myself and it goes on and on and on

This is what i got for player1 in the step event, i think its gone wrong here but i cant figure out where.

Any help will be appreciated

I assume you mean that when you respawn, a copy remains at your previous position, right? Does the copy respond to your key presses and stuff like that? (For example, if you press right and both planes move right.) If so, it's likely that they're two different objects (check your other events to make sure an extra instance hasn't been created).

Also, you might have drawn the plane sprite at the position in the Draw event when you didn't need to.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, to be honest, but hope this helps :biggrin:

How interesting...

The problem isn't right there. However, it may be in your Create or Destroy events. Also what's in the explosion1 event?
