Ah, Bob Smith, my old acquaintance , it seems you have travelled back in time to when you were 13 years old! Yet, amazingly, you seem to have retained your composing skills. Very impressive! And apparently it was your birthday a few days ago. Happy birthday! But I could’ve sworn your 18th birthday was a few weeks ago...hmmm...strange. Anyways...I have another request for you, I hope you don’t mind .

Mood: Upbeat (but not too happy), Driving, Techno-Electro-ish
Length: Around 1.5 to 2 mins
Speed: Whatever speed suits an upbeat electro song
Looped: Yes
Description of game style: My game is a puzzle game with a “hi-techy” art style
Preferred format: MP3

Why not just show them your music? Was lying really necessary? If you're gonna lie go big, say your a 40 year old internationally acclaimed composer who in their spare time takes rides in space for kicks.

If I had have done that in the first place, I doubt that I would have had as many people willing to request music.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Like I said before, if I had have let people know of my age straight away, I'm sure a lot of them would have been turned off by it.

Just wanna let you know that some of these tracks you've got listed are pretty awesome. Way to go, man. And don't be afraid to tell people your true age in regards to music... I'd rather listen to an impressive kid than some wannabe teenager any day.

Thanks for the song icymx, that was pretty quick. It's pretty good but it sounds a bit too dark for my game, do you think you'll have time today to make it a bit lighter/more upbeat sounding and less 8 bitty. If not, next week will be fine. By the way, don't worry about the length of the piece, it's long enough. Hope it isn't too much trouble.

Thanks for the expedient response and offer to help. Here's what I had in mind:

Mood: background, dream-state
Length: N/A (but I'd prefer it to loop nicely from the final note back to the first note, if possible)
Speed: medium seems good, but I'll leave this to the musician's discretion
Looped: yes
Description of game style: platformer-RPG, trying to bring life back to a dying world
Preferred format: midi, please
Demo: not entirely sure how to do this... turn into an executable and upload it? Holler back if you absolutely need a demo and I'll figure it out

Optional:

Instruments: musician's discretion
Drums: all you, boss
Bitrate: you do what you think is best
Song to base the composition off of: I like your piece on Page 15, "Icy What You Did There." Something of that general style without the repeating chimes in the middle and end of it. They're fine for a moment, but they go on too long for my preference.
Other info: looking for music to accompany a druidic dream-state as he's being spoken to by the spirit of nature, essentially. Needs to be kinda dramatic, but not overly so.

Why did you have to bring your age into the equation in the first place? There's no requirement forcing you to tell your age.
