Hello Game Makers I want to publish. So how do I go about doing this? One more question does every image in the game have to be original for it to be published?

Okay, I'll answer your question. Publishing is very easy. Upload it to sandbox.yoyogames.com. Or make your own website and upload it there.
You need permission to use the images. For example, you can use sprites that came with GM.

It's not really allowed per se, but a lot of people makes fangames with non-their material and say it's OK as long as you do not claim ownership of the resources *and* only give the game out for free and never sells it.
For instance, I've made a mashup game "Kirbyvania" mixing up Kirby and Castlevania elements.

Game Maker Forums isn't used to sell games, however you can make announcements. For example your website could be announced in the Website forum. And each game you're selling can have a topic in the creations forum.
