I am almost halfway done with my own Super Mario Bros. game, "Luigi's Adventure". This game takes place during the events of the original Super Mario Bros for the NES and involves Luigi's separate adventure to rescue the princess. The first 3 worlds have been created and different bosses are in each world, with newer characters such as Waluigi and King Boo. A fun, almost exact duplicate of the original game, this is definitely worth playing if you like Super Mario games. The controls are as follows:
Left arrow key: move left
Right arrow key: move right
Down arrow key: duck (if super luigi or fire luigi)
Up arrow key: control jumping left or right
"Z" key: hold while pressing left or right to run faster and when fire luigi, toss fireballs
"X" key: jump (the longer the hold, the higher the jump until it reaches maximum height)
Enter key: start game on title screen

UPDATE: I can make an executable of this game, but only when most of the bugs are out and a few more levels are complete. Also, I am mainly getting complaints about the jumping, which has been a problem for a while, but no one has specified exactly what the problem is, but I believe it's either getting stuck or the speed of the jump or when falling from a jump. If anyone knows how to fix any problems, please let me know.

Here's the link for the "first version" of the game:

check back for more updates and give me your feedback, please!

You know, you could post this in the Works In Progress section of the forums for more notority. And screenshots would be nice, too.

Ok, thanks for the input, I should do that, but what I really want to know is what people think of the game. Since I've uploaded this, I've made many improvements but there won't be any new updates until world 4 is complete.

Brought back old memories, had some fun. But that jumping is driving me crazy. Keep tweaking. :D

If any of you guys know how to fix the jumping problems, or would like to specifically tell me what is wrong with the jumping, let me know. Also, let me know how to upload screenshots because the options only let me upload screenshots from the internet and not from my computer.

Get an account on a image hosting site (such as www.imageshack.com or www.photobucket.com), upload your images to that site, get the DIRECT LINK to the images, and then paste it between the two text snippets . (Those are image-rendering BB-Code tags that basically turns an URL direct-linking to an image into a visible image, just like writing some text gives you italic text)

Thank you, I will do that.
