If you love to play the good old games in your PC with various emulators and you want to browse through them in a great new way then this program is for you.

Emu Station 3D is a program developed entirely in Gamemaker for PC. I have started working on this for fun and I thought I would keep it for myself (lol) but later in the progress it looked very usefull and great so I decided to make it available for everyone.

Version 1.1 New Features Video:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=uLvs-VwtcUQ

How it Works
-------------------
The program works with the file associations.
For example, to run an NES rom, while adding the game in to the program in the 'URL' option you must select the '.nes' file. Roms compressed in to zip, rar or any other format files are not supported at the moment.
You can add games where you can set the title, game (rom) location, cover and screenshot.
You can also download covers and screenshots from the program's browser by pressing [W] while adding a game. (it's a really fast and usefull feature)

Emulators or any roms are not included so do not contact me for requests.

-------------------
13 Consoles Supported
-------------------
Atari 2600
Dreamcast
GameCube
Game Boy
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
Nintendo DS
Nes
Snes
Nintendo 64
Play Station
Sega Genesis
Sega Master System

the only bug i found while playing around with it was when you delete a game from one section it seletes all the covers and throws an error about missing background.

the strange thing is i cant recreate it so i guess it was a little WTF happened bug then fixed itself...IDK

found where it was, its in the sega section where it happened i just did it again.

___________________________________________
ERROR in
action number 5
of Draw Event
for object obj_sggame:

Trying to get texture from non-existing background.

Edit: Also wanted to add it doesnt open the file it just opens the emulator.(I do have the rom set to open with the program too)

Okay thanks, i read though that and before i go on what do you mean?

Spoiler

Does this mean that i have to have each emulator downloaded?
I thought that each Emulator was built in to this program but if not it is still very useful, Please get back to me Sorry if im wasting your time with Simple Questions.... Just wanted to try this out. -Mat-

im wondering if there is a way for gm to assign file types to default programs, this way you could include the emulators in this program.
altho would assigning file types be considered modifying windows?
there must be a dll for this or maybe its worth making one :)

njp it's just registry entries.

i know, but people see it differently, if one could just edit the registries then they could do alot of damage to a computer just from running a gm game O_O .
