PARACHUTE REMADE
The game you didn't even know you were waiting for!
This is a remake of the classic parachute game (which i did not make, obviously), it is a retro style game, except without the crappy controls and constant crashes!

A new version is currently being made, this includes: a destruction animation, fps counter, bullets shot counter and achievement

Simple and fun, but not addicting. It needs powerups, waves, difficulty! and maybe some improved graphics. your shark looks like an airplane!

2 things: first cool thanks for the advice, don't forget to give it a rating. secondly the 'shark' is an air plane lol.

EDIT(dont want to bump again): when you play please, please (if you have YYG account) leave a rating because it looks bad in my sig if i have a rating of 0.0 :D

oh sorry, I don't have a yyg account. and I knew the shark was a plane, that was the joke. it looks too much like a shark. airplanes don't usually have a fin in the center and never have two fins above and below like you do on the tail. a quick google images reference could have helped tremendously.

Here's a 5/5 to start you off.

The game's got a good base, but needs more... pizzaz. The 'rounds' are slow, and often time is spent waiting, and the game doesn't seem to have a clear end, or goal (100 points!)

Maybe make a bit more variety in your parachuters (faster ones, armoured ones, ones with 2 parachutes) and such. Speed up the rounds (make more enemies) but don't over-do it! Make rounds clear, e.g. 'wave 1' parachutes come in (about 10) you kill them all then 'wave 2' appears on screen, etc.

I dunno. The gameplay itself doesn't need to change, it all works, but there needs to be more to do to keep the player interested, I think.

The original I played a lot on the apple ][


The gun should be on a hill/pill box
The guys that land should walk to the hill and stop or climb on top of each other to reach the gun.

If you hit the parachute, the guy should fall and kill any other guy it falls onto, this technique is used to destroy the forming pyramid of climbing guys.

Good effort with it so far. keep at it!

i'm sad to say the games at a new-low 2.6, (BTW its not an awful game its been up to about 4 stars (3.7) )
