This software is made by the creator of Exotica.

DrawTime is a picture application that I made in my spare time. It looks a little like MS Paint, but soon it will be alot better than that!

Newest Download:
v1.5 Download: DrawTime v1.4
v1.3 Download: DrawTime v1.3
v1.2 Download: DrawTime v1.2
v1.1 Download: DrawTime v1.1
v1.0 Download: DrawTime v1.0

Features for v1.5:

Eraser
Erase All
Save Function(FIXED)
Load Function(FIXED)
Delete Function
Quit Function
Smooth Tool (Click it and it will make colors bigger, also the eraser will get bigger.)
Colors (Click it and it will show more colors!)
No Color Select
Character Placement(Don't know what ill do with that.)

Soon to be Added Features:

Erase All Tool
Paint Bucket Tool
A Pallete (Credit to GreenhornGames)
Auto Saving
More Colors

Hey, this could have some nice usage in-game, for user designed sprites and decals and stuff.

However:
* Drawing with RMB feels counter-intuitive
* Being able to draw over the top of the palette and eraser tools is a mistake
* Having to remember the savefile name is difficult, and if you get it wrong breaks the game: ERROR in action number 1of Mouse Event for Left Released
for object obj_load: Trying to execute non-existing file.
* Try using get_open_filename instead.
* like GreenhornGames said, a palette would be great, or even the ability to make custom colours.

If further developed, this could become a nice tool for creating pixelart from within a game - maybe to make the crest on your shield, or the decorations on your walls etc.

Have a look at http://teknopants.com/pixothello/ for a very nice editor.

Thanks for the nice comment! All of what you listed I already new. I should have put them in a "Know Bugs" list. And DrawTime will have a Smooth Drawing Tool also! So it can be use to paint/draw anything, including Pixel Art.

I am working on a menu for all the colors. You click the button, it throws out a menu, pick a color, and start drawing. When the mouse leaves, it closes the menu!

Can anyone suggest more features? I know that I should add a SELECT TOOL, and a PAINT BUCKET TOOL, and a PALLETE. Any more ideas? :)
