G'day there folks,

I will introduce the game to you with a video:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=DvTaTANvYvA

This is probarly one of the bigger games ever made with gamemaker, with a total of 3 hours gameplay, and another 3 with co-op online.
This game plays like an intense arcade game, with improved graphics, unlockables and online play. The game contais ALOT
of violence, including gore, I would say you'd better not play it if your age is below 12. The game has 3 worlds, containing
different enemies with special abilities and resistances. All 3 worlds end in a huge bossfight. The 3 worlds have an progressive difficulty- world 1 is the easiest, world 3 is the hardest. The game plays extremely fast, and the enemies are relatively though- which will force you to run back from nearly every enemy. Bossfights are extreme though
and you can barely win one without taking at least 3/4 of your health in damage, so you must decide in a matter of second or to jump/move to what way-the one will cost you more hp than the other. But not only the bossfights, the regular levels are also extremely though and probarly not as easy as what you're used to-meaning that you will fail alot and might get frustrated (take yer pills BEFORE you start a bossfight). To make it all even better, the game contains alot of unlockables which you can show off in the online co-op mode. Lets neither forget the stay-in-action level up system, you gain XP for every bullet hit, and alot for every enemy killed-but you also lose XP over time. Online co-op is not just the same levels and enemies-the enemies are thougher, there are more in each level, and each level contains gates/bridges or other obstacles where you need each other.

Storyline:

As easy as life was, as rough as it could get at once...Grandad was just watching tv seeing all the evil what was still going on around him, he was angry but happy at the same time he wasn't among those unlucky people...until... The farm next door was robbed by some skinheads from the village at the end of the road, grandad couldn't take this anymore. Telling his wife that he would be back before dinner, he grabbed his good ol' rusty gun. It was time to finish this evil, for once and for all!

(The storyline is a bit herp-derp indeed, but that is what it was meant to be)

Online co-op:
Still contains some bugs, check out our forum (gwmgame.actieforum.com) to keep yourself up to date. The version with the fixed co-op should be released soon.

Now download this game right away:

Have fun killing all the evil you can find.

I would download, play, and reply, but the video pushed me away. this really doesn't seem like my game though I did want to leave my two cents.

at :24, it seemed like the zombies had way too much health. this would get really annoying always running away shooting.
the boss battle looked like it would have been very difficult and might even lag some slower computers.
graphics look pretty decent. maybe clean up some lines and maybe add some shading where it needs.

I also wanted to point out that 3 hours of gameplay is weak.
Good luck!

hi,
first of all the trailer looks very good. but after i download and run the game i saw that its not that good.
when the first enemy come i have to walk backwards, as i try to jump over the enemy it hits me, so there is only one way to handle the enemies... walking backwards.
the next point is the "dead screen", you should write:"press space" because at the first time i die i was waiting becasue i dont know that i have to press anything.
i also always get back to the title screen after i die, which is wrong because at 99% i want to try it again.
i wish i cloud play against some bosses, but the enemies are way to hard. the level of difficulty kills the fun.

resume: the game have majer problems with balance.

i hope you will edit your game, it could become a good one :D

Oh hey look, replies.
I didn't really expect that on this forum lol, I must agree with the first guy above me. Not with the second tho, the enemies have alot of
hp, which just forces you to run back and shoot headshots. This game is arcade 2d platform at its hardest, basically a hardcore 2d platformer.
It indeed needs balancing, so if you got any suggestions or find it bugs, please had to the forum instead: http://gwmgame.actieforum.com/

Just a quick hint, please don't try to spread your responses or ask forum users to go elsewhere. This means signing up for new accounts, checking different places, etc etc, and for a forum that is already dead and probably will be the same for its lifespan, you need a centralised place where game makers and players come together to play a variety of games, a place where you have an audience to appeal to, instead of somewhere where you have no one to appeal to so you have to try to redirect users to sign up and put effort into a board about a game they will probably play once and never think about again. You have to be very realistic with these sorts of projects. The centralised place I am talking about is here, the GMC. Do not try to spread your audience for a small project. Plus it is irritating if your giving responses out of goodwill and your asked to do more than the bare minimum. You should be grateful people give you their time. You should be chasing reviews, not trying to get reviews to chase you.
