If you have GM 8.0 or 7 download this after you download the zip, then simply replace part 3 with this:

If you run into Extreme Physics errors you probably didn't install the extension yet. This is very simple and can be fixed by clicking here. http://files.maarten...physics-2-1.zip

Then just open your project, go to Resources, Extensions, Install, Install and then install the extension. Before you click OK make sure it is on the left hand side of the screen. Then click OK. If you still have an error make sure you did it right then send me a PM.

This looks really good! But it looks like it suffers from way too low view angle.

Downloading now...

EDIT:
I didn't understand much of the level editor. The low view angle makes it very desorienting.
The game itself was very good though, better than most GM racers out there!

There's one thing I forgot to mention, you have to take a screenshot of the path and use that as a background for a room. I updated the tutorial gm8.1 and now it makes more sense.

This is not a d3d sample. This is an DLL\extension sample. It does not belong in this forum.
It dont work for me it needs some Extreme extension.

For those who come here want 3D examples not DLL samples. So please be kind enough to close this and post it in: Extending GameMaker

It is both a 3d example and it uses the extension. It has a path generator like persich.hu's which has nothing to do with the Extreme Physics. Extreme Physics is 2d so I had to modify it to work in 3d, also I am not the one who made Extreme Physics so that wouldn't make any sense to post it in Extending Gamemaker.

Also, if you want it to work, you can download the free extension.

Um..... I'm sure you know this .... but for maybe others .....
In the o_cam1 object ... change the draw statement to

d3d_set_projection_ext(x,y,z-.1,xto,yto,zto,xup,yup,zup,45,1.5,0.1,2000)

you get a better viewing angle.....
