Put a colour picker in your game easily
1. no more irritating pop ups
2. 1 script + 1 sprite, It can even be implemented into an existing object
3. capable of 3,796,416* Colours

It looks like this:

Version 2 has 2 modes the second one being like this:

Download from Mediafire
Download version 2 from Rapidshare

Feel free to use this, but please give credit

* 3796416 colours only available in mode 1; 3796416 is only an estimate [power(156<the selector resolution>,3)]

I think you're supposed to provide source straight away, not "coming soon"...

err... quickpad?

FYI: is that my picker in your game?
Posted Image
That's exactly the type of thing I planned it to be used for.

(It actually works?... Not bad for 30 mins coding.)

small request: Could you give credit PLZ.

sometimes the color flashes to the original color, I think it can be fixed by making the color pointer invisible. plus I have a theory about your script which might improve its flexibility

This has been annoying me for a while, so I'll say it now - the plural of "pop-up" is "pop-ups". There should be no apostrophe.

2. I mean the pointer that selects the main color

1. mine has 3,796,416 possible colours. Yours has 127 (PM me if you really care how I worked these out.) Math FTW (Come on this is a programming forum after all)
2. The selector is a ring so it being read as the colour shouldn't be a problem. When exactly does the reset happen; I never came across this in testing.

1.no I mean something like this:
sc_colour(type)
type would be either 1(your standard one) or 2 (the hex color diagram).
2.I think it is because it picks up the color of the selector instead of the one it should, the color goes grey(maybe white)

oh and did you like nyan sonic???

Spoiler

1. I'll give that a try
2. You gotta move the mouse really* fast for that, and once you stop the mouse it sorts it's self out, so it's not really a problem.
