The item and arm are one sprite, with the origin at the shoulder.
And then I think I used a separate object for the collision checking on certain objects like the sword.
It is definitely possible to have the arm and item being held separate sprites though.

Maybe instead of adding a sequel, you should just add on to it.
The game play was a little too short for a game like that.

slayer 64: Are you trying to run it on an ancient computer or something? The EXE is only 17 MB.... that's not too terribly large.
