UPDATE!Desert Dog's game
Fiefdom is now available on LunchGaming!
Try it now, it's great!

Question: How do we update our game, instead of making MORE copies of it?
Answer(maybe?): You should add an update game button, where you have to find the newly edited version of it, select it, and click update. That would be an AWESOME feature to add.
It's a fair question, and I'll make sure to update the FAQ on it.
To give you a short answer: when you have an update for a game, zip it and email it to
contact@lunchgaming.com.
On making an "Update game files" button:
I've considered it numerous times, but I have intentionally decided not to do it as of now. Right now, when someone uploads a game, it's only available through the backend for administrators to see and test. Once an admin has reviewed it, he can then accept or decline it. If he declines, it is erased from the server and the database. If he accepts, it goes directly to the frontpage and is made publicly available. The good thing about this is that it ensures the public user's safety; if someone uploads malicious content, it is never exposed to the general public. Worst case scenario an admin will be hurt.
Say a user uploads a game that is accepted. If he has an option to upload updated gamefiles himself once the game has gone public, then that enables him to replace the old game files with new, malicious ones that are directly public, hence potentially enabling him to make an attack.
So for the time being, when you guys have an update for your game, zip it and mail it to
contact@lunchgaming.com, and we will do the work for you.
In the future you will be able to update games yourselves, and I will program a feature so that the first version of the game continues to be the only public version until the updated version has been reviewed.
I hope that makes sense. It's a little more troublesome right now, but it will change, and for the time being it's the safest solution. We don't want anyone potentially exposed to malicious code.
Hope that makes sense.
