I know there have been multitudes of Dragon Ball Z games here using the same old sprites and drag 'n drop mechanics, but this is a different story altogether. I fully intend to actualize a fully-functional, honest-to-goodness Dragon Ball Z game. A good one, even. Full disclosure...
I'm currently working on the game alone, as I usually do. However, now that I'm actually serious about this project, I feel the workload, while doable, would be daunting to do by myself. I've begun to code what is shaping up to be a legitimate fighting engine; dynamic combos, cancels, and more. This is not a fighting game--not in the traditional sense, anyway--think, if you will, of a 2-D Budokai Tenkaichi series game. Similar, but very different. The character sprites will be heavily-modified versions of existing sprites. Not those little chubby guys from LSW that you always see in Game Maker DBZ games.
Now, on to what it is that I need: Spriters (including edits), graphic artists (menus, ui design, HUD), musical composers (not of the utmost urgency, but it would help), coders (we're talking workload--I intend to do the blunt of the coding, for certain)... hell, even some consultants. I'm rather undecided on certain aspects of the game, so even if you don't have any specific game development talents, someone to bounce ideas off of would be totally killer.
If you're interested, feel free to either PM me or send me an IM over AIM at: wrathmont313 -- I will send you the most recent build of the game engine.
